National Cotton Industry Alliance Cotton Production and Processing Base Construction Strategic Cooperation Signing and Awarding Ceremony
On October 18th, the National Cotton Industry Alliance (CCIA) Cotton Production and Processing Base Construction Strategic Cooperation Signing and Awarding Ceremony hosted by the Bazhou Agricultural and Rural Bureau was held at the Bazhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Deputy Governor Feng Xuehai attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
The National Cotton Industry Alliance was established in November 2016. It is one of the 20 benchmarking alliances of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, which was established by the Ministry of Finance and the former Ministry of Agriculture. The signing and licensing ceremony marks a solid step in the strategic cooperation between the Bavarian People's Government and the National Cotton Industry Alliance. In the future, Bavarian Cotton will dominate the creation of the National Cotton Industry Alliance (CCIA) brand.
On the same day, relevant experts and business leaders of the National Cotton Industry Alliance made a special report on the integration of Guomian's entire industrial chain and green high-quality development, CCIA cotton brand research and promotion, green children's wear trend and cotton raw material demand; Bazhou People's Government Signed the "Cooperative CCIA Cotton Processing Base Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with the National Cotton Industry Alliance, Xinjiang Lihua Cotton Industry, and Yuanjiang Agricultural Industry and Trade respectively; the National Cotton Industry Alliance to Yan's Seed Industry, Yumian Huinong, Lihua Cotton Industry , “CCIA Cotton Production Base” and “CCIA Cotton Processing Base” of Yuanjiang Agricultural Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. were awarded.
In recent years, Bazhou has promoted the concentration of cotton to high-quality and high-yield cotton areas. The level of cotton planting and single-production water ranks in the forefront of Xinjiang. It has become one of the three major cotton producing areas in Xinjiang and an important national high-quality commodity cotton base. In 2019, the cotton planting area is 3.28 million mu. It is estimated that the lint production will reach 500,000 tons. There are 124 large-scale cotton pickers, and the cotton machine is expected to receive more than 2 million mu. Since 2017, Bazhou has taken the advantage of the cotton industry and actively strengthened cooperation and exchanges with the national cotton industry alliance. In particular, this year, it has seized the opportunity of Bazhou cotton to be listed as the first batch of regional breeding bases in the country. The signing and awarding will definitely build a new platform for Bazhou to accelerate the sustainable development of CCIA high-quality cotton, accumulate new experience and add new impetus.
