Ladies, gentlemen, journalists, everyone, good morning! Welcome everyone to attend today's press conference, very happy to meet with you. I first informed our foreign trade import and export in the first half of this year, and then answered the questions raised by everyone.
In the first half of this year, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee of Xi Xi Ping, my country's unified epidemic prevention and economic and social development has continued to consolidate, and the foreign trade import and export is stable, and new achievements. According to customs, the total value of my country's goods trade import and export is 18.07 trillion yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 27.1% over the same period last year. Among them, the export is 9.85 trillion yuan, an increase of 28.1%; imports 8.22 trillion yuan, an increase of 25.9%. Compared with the same period in 2019, import and export, export, imports increased by 22.8%, 23.8%, 21.7% respectively. Specifically, there are the following six aspects:
First, import and export is growing up for 13 months. In June, my country's foreign trade import and export was 3.29 trillion yuan, an increase of 22% year-on-year, and the 13th month of continued year-on-year increase was growing over June 2020.
The second is to grow with the main trading partner import and export growth. In the first half of the year, my country's top three major trading partners ASEAN, the European Union, USA, 2.52 trillion, 2.21 trillion yuan, increased by 27.8%, 26.7%, 34.6% respectively, respectively; 1.18 trillion yuan for Japan import and export Increasing 14.5%. In the same period, my country's RCEP trading partner import and export increased by 27.5%, 22.7% respectively.
The third is that general trade import and export is growing faster. In the first half of the year, my country's general trade import and export was 11.19 trillion yuan, an increase of 61.9% of my country's foreign trade value, which increased 1.7 percentage points from the same period last year; where export was 6.02 trillion yuan, an increase of 32.1%; import 5.17 trillion Yuan, an increase of 29.2%. In the same period, the processing trade import and export was 3.89 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.8%, accounting for 21.5%.
The fourth is that the main force of private enterprises is more consolidated. In the first half of the year, my country's private enterprises imported exported 8.64 trillion yuan, an increase of 35.1%, accounting for 47.8% of my country's foreign trade value, which increased 2.8 percentage points from the same period last year, and continued to ran out in my country's first foreign trade main body. In the same period, the import and export of foreign investment enterprises increased by 6.61 trillion yuan, an increase of 19%; the import and export of state-owned enterprises was 2.75 trillion yuan, an increase of 23.8%.
The fifth is the proportion of the export of electromechanical products. In the first half of the year, my country's exporter electromechanical products increased by 29.5%, accounting for 59.2% of the total export value, which increased by 0.6 percentage points from the same period last year; where export automatic data processing equipment and its components, mobile phones, and automobiles increased by 17 %, 23.3%, 101.4%. In the same period, the export labor-intensive product increased by 17.1%, medical materials and drugs increased by 93.6%.
Sixth is an increase in the import volume of commodity imports such as iron ore, natural gas. In the first half of the year, my country imported iron ore sand was 561 million tons, which increased by 2.6%; natural gas increased by 23.8%; soybean 489.55 million tons, increased by 8.302 million tons, increased 318.5%; 5368,000 tons of wheat, increase 60.1 %. In the same period, imported crude oil was 261 million tons, which decreased by 3%.
In general, my country's foreign trade continued the good momentum of the second half of last year, and the growth rate was faster, which laid a good foundation for the stability of foreign trade. Customs will adhere to the guidance of the socialist thinking of Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping, and conscientiously study General Secretary Xi Jinping at the 100th Anniversary of Xi Jinping at the 100th Anniversary Conference of the Communist Party, based on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, and build a new development pattern.
